Mr Thakrar was excellent in all respects. Plainly a leader in his field, Mr Thakrar left me in no doubt from my first meeting with him that I would receive 1st class treatment and care from Mr Thakrar which was subsequently borne out in the two operations upon my knee that followed (a meniscal repair followed by an ACL reconstruction). Mr Thakrar showed genuine concern for me, my knee and my mobility (both in the short and long term), before, during and after my two operations. I cannot recommend Mr Thakrar highly enough.

Having sustained a Tibial plateau fracture on 14/08/21, I was booked in for surgery with Mr Thakrar at the Trauma unit Lister Hospital NHS and, more recently, the removal of hardware from my knee at One Hatfield Hospital. Both experiences were extremely positive, and from the get-go, I was put at ease by Mr Thakrar and his team; Mr Thakrar was attentive, friendly and professional. It’s rare to find a consultant that combines such personal touches and care for his patient. A first-rate professional experience. Thank you.

Mr Thakrar performed a partial knee replacement sugary for me in February. The whole experience was made as painless as possible with a positive out come. An exceptionally pleasant consultant who kept me fully appraised before during and after the knee surgery and as already alluded to my knee already feels a million times better. Very neat and tidy scar. I would Throughly recommend him.
